“I hope people feel goodness from my show and accept me
for who I am, flaws and all.” – Glenn Beck
Glenn started in radio when he was only 13 years old by winning a local radio contest to be a DJ for an hour. Glenn had three jobs – one at a Christian station, a Rock station, and a Country station in his home state of Washington. He was fired from all three jobs – on the same day when he was 14 years old!
After high school graduation, Glenn pursued his career as a Top 40 DJ at stations all over the country. He landed an opportunity in Corpus Christi, Texas, as the youngest morning guy in the U.S. at 18 years old. His career took him to Top 40 morning shows in Baltimore, Houston, Phoenix, Washington, and New Haven, Conn. He had professional success into the 1990s until things changed. Today, Glenn points out, “When you have that kind of success that early in life, it’s easy for you to turn into a monster. And I did! ”
At the age of 30, Glenn lost his passion for radio – and everything else – as he struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction. Glenn pursued higher education in search of answers. Though he was accepted by Yale as a Theology major, he lasted only one semester, faced with a divorce from his first wife and separation from his two daughters – the oldest with Cerebral Palsy. He was emotionally and financially decimated and relegated to one of the smallest radio markets.
Finally, he turned to a program of recovery.
Coming to terms with his past and staying sober saved his life. He found a new love (his second wife, Taniai) , a new faith , and a new vision of his career – he would pursue talk radio.
He soon had an offer to host his own talk radio show on WFLA-AM in Tampa, Florida, forcing him to move away from his daughters in New Haven. He and Tania decided to live in Tampa for two years and then, whether Glenn succeeded or failed, they would move closer to his girls.
He inherited the 18th placed position at WFLA-AM and took it to the #1 position. Within 18 months, Premiere Radio Networks, offered Glenn the opportunity to go national.
He also kept his promise to his daughters and moved the national show to Philadelphia. The Glenn Beck Program, which airs weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon ET, is now ranked as the 3rd most listened to talk show in America among Adults 25-54. |

Always articulate and entertaining, “The Laura Ingraham Radio Program” has been
addicting legions of listeners since her launch into national syndication in 2001. Smart, funny,
and ahead of the curve in politics and the culture, Laura’s busting down the door of the “boys
only” radio club. Her show takes listeners on a wild ride through the colliding worlds of politics,
the news media, and Hollywood.
Her legal, political, writing, and television background distinguishes Laura in the field of
increasingly homogeneous radio syndication. Whether she’s on the watch for evidence of media
bias, political hypocrisy or Hollywood inanity, Laura infuses her program with a level of energy
and commitment to conservative principles that grabs hold and won’t let go.
In addition to hosting her own syndicated radio program, Laura is an author, frequent
columnist and television commentator. Her book The Hillary Trap, first released in June 2000,
was recently re-released as an updated paperback version. Her latest book, Shut Up & Sing: How
the Elites in Hollywood, Politics...and the UN are Subverting America (Regnery) is bound to be
a bestseller.
Laura worked as a speechwriter in the final two years of the Reagan Administration at
the White House, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Education. She
went on to graduate from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was Notes Editor
of the Law Review. She served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second
Circuit, and then on the Supreme Court of the United States for Justice Clarence Thomas. After
clerking, Laura worked as a white-collar criminal defense attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate,
Meagher & Flom. Laura is a graduate of Dartmouth College.
Smart political talk isn’t just for the boys anymore. Just say no to stupid radio and get
hooked on Laura. It’s not just a talk show - It’s an addiction. |

Pat Gray...Morning co-host for KSEV-Houston
Pat Gray was born in Helena, Montana, but, as the bumper sticker says: 'Got to Texas as fast as he could'.
Well, fast, is a bit of a stretch. It took a while. He got started in radio during his junior year in high school, at his hometown Top-40 station...one of a whopping THREE radio stations in town. He quickly realized he was on to something, and upon graduation, moved to new jobs in the thriving metropolises of Great Falls, and Billings.
At the age of 20, he landed his first "sizeable" radio job at KISN-FM in Salt Lake City, Utah. There, he met the love of his life, ("brrr, I'm cold, it's cold") Jacque. Before she could realize her terrible mistake, he married her. So, they started their family, and Pat moved from station to station in SLC.
In 1989, at 27, a Program Director called Pat to see if he had any interest in perhaps flying out to Baltimore, Maryland, where he would go on the air at B104, teamed up with a partner for at least one show. The station management had heard tapes of both people, liked them, and wanted to find out how they would sound together. The morning show partner for that show was Glenn Beck. They met at the airport, rode into the station together, and as the story goes, were best friends before baggage claim. Baltimore is also where the family, in 1990, decided to begin home-schooling their children.
From B104, Pat went to WJFK in Washington, DC...then on to the Hartford-New Haven area (with Glenn) to WKCI-FM (KC101). In 1995...Pat & Jacque...and family (4 kids at the time...that total would later swell to 6...and who knows, depending on what time it is...maybe more by now)...for many reasons, decided to leave Connecticut and return to Salt Lake City. Not wanting to leave CT, Glenn sadly stayed behind...and became a forgotten mess, relegated to one day, finally putting together a miserable patchwork of 200 radio stations, a national TV show, magazine, live stage tour, and whatever else...too pathetic to really detail here.
In 2001, Pat jumped at the opportunity to leave music radio, and Salt Lake City, and become a born-again TEXAN, thus beginning his new life as a talk show host.
Then, in December, 2006, everything came together. The opportunity for Pat to join "radio-active" KSEV, with Edd Hendee as his morning show partner, 6-9am...and of course, Dan Patrick in the afternoon, was just too good for all, to pass up. "Meant to be", and "blessed to be here" are the phrases most often heard from Pat when summing up the chance to be working at AM 700 KSEV |
