Senator Dan Patrick rolls out endorsements
Posted on May 10, 2012 by DanPatrick
AUSTIN – Senator Dan Patrick has thrown his support behind a group of conservative candidates on the primary ballot.
“I am proud to lend my support to each of the candidates listed below,” said Patrick. “Each one represents the bright future of conservative principles such as smaller government, free trade and fiscal restraint.”
The candidates listed below represent a partial list of a group that will benefit from the delivery of a video endorsement by Senator Patrick to thousands of email addresses in their district. The messages will notify Republican voters of Senator Patrick’s endorsement and the importance of voting for that candidate in the upcoming primary election. The videos are posted on YouTube as they are released. Some have already been sent and are posted for viewing.
“The message to Republican voters across the state is that their candidate has an important role in achieving our conservative goals in state government,” said Senator Patrick, “but they cannot do their job until Republican voters show up in force on May 29th.”

In my profession I have watched people and their families suffer dearly due to smoking. The smoker shrivels away and dies and the family and kids have to watch it happen helplessly.BAD NEWS!
Dan:
I recieved an unsolicited text message yesterday from Dan Medina’s campaign. It really urks me to recieve such communications. I have to pay for that message as my plan offers limited texting. I decided to check out the obscure website provided to look for a way to complain. The web address connected me directly to Medina’s campaign website. Since Medina’s website did not have a contact number or email that I could use to complain, I called the local phone number also provided in the text message.
To my surprise John Devine answered the phone. He explained to me that he has recieved at least a 1000 calls which tied him up significantly. He and I spoke about the sorry state of politics these days and I apologized for taking his time with this foolishness.
Juvenile tactics such as this turn people off. Medina needs to expose the culprit, kick them off of the campaign and publicly repudiate this action. Since I could not find contact info on Medina’s website, I am hoping this will be reported on your show this afternoon.
I was undecided until now. But I will definitely vote for Devine on election day.
Thanks for all you do for Texans.
Dan, I’m concerned. Are you still backing Dewhurst? His attack ads appear to have been produced by Team Obama. They are vile and appear to be misleading if not false. And his attempt to deny his speech in support of total amnesty for every illegal currently in Texas is disturbing. Not to mention that he is being supported by powerful left wing democrat groups: giant Washington fundraiser by the Podesta group, a powerful Democrat lobbying firm run by the brothers John and Tony Podesta, the American Hospital Association (who were such ardent supporters of Obamacare, they filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court urging Obamacare be declared Constitutional), and other Obamacare supporters contributing to Dewhurst including the American Medical Association, Pfizer, and Glaxosmithkline. Please let me know if I am missing something. Thanks.
Who for U.S. Senate? I assume silence is an endorsement for Cruz?
Dan, I know that you work closely with the board of education. Are there any of these candidates that you would recommend over any of the incumbents? Perhaps you are trying to stay neutral in these races. My SBOE candidates are in district 7. It is just very hard to find out what the values of these candidates really are.
Outstanding. Makes voting so much easier. I trust Dan’s choices absolutely. I need him to stretch beyond Harris County however because I live in Brazoria County!!! and I’ve only been in Texas for a little over 5 years!!
