General Motors pushing U.S. to sell stake: report

Posted by Chris Baker on 9/17/2012

The Treasury Department is resisting General Motors’ push for the government to sell off its stake in the auto maker, The Wall Street Journal reports. Following a $50 billion bailout in 2009, the U.S. taxpayers now own almost 27% of the company. But the newspaper said GM executives are now chafing at that, saying it hurts the company’s reputation and its ability to attract top talent due to pay restrictions.

Socialisim not working.

    Chris,

Maybe this is something you and Dan can comment on for your show today? During the last three weeks of the campaign, why doesn’t Romney use old sound bites from Hillary bashing Obama, when she was running against him for the Democratic nominee? Use these sound bites as commercials, at the end of every sound bite, Romney puts his twist on it?

Lieutenant Colonel Sean Seibert needs you. He is the conservative challenger to Sheila Jackson Lee for Congressional District 18 and he’s working on making sure she is Houston’s ex-congresswoman. Sean Seibert is a great man who served in Afghanistan, he has a lot of insight on that region, insight he would love to share with the country. I am one of his volunteers and we’ve been getting a gargantuan amount of support while block walking, but we need more help getting his name and his message out there. Please support Sean Seibert for congress.

My concern goes boneyd the issues. It even goes boneyd the truth and the facts. We have been presenting both in relation to the Obamanation and the media and the public have dutifully been ignoring it all. The focus for 2012 should not be on facts and truth, but rather on preventing rampant fraud from occurring and surely as the sun rises from the east and sets in the west, it is going to happen. It has to. The Obamanation can not win any other way. We, the Tea Party, the Republicans, the Conservatives, the Constitutionalists are attempting to fill up this giant balloon with facts, truth and information and thinking that it will lift us all up and we will win the day, or the election. What is not seen and not focused on are the hordes of Obamatrons primed and ready with their very sharp and pointy knives to attack and pierce our balloon flat and with that we will never be able to lift off no matter the truth and the facts being on our side. We will be completely and totally ambushed by the Obamanation and his minions. How? The same way and the same place they took over the government in 2008 .at the voting booth. Where they will once again have the Black Panthers intimidating people away from the voting booths; where there will be multitudes of dead people voting; where there will be false names such as Donald Duck voting; where there will be illegal immigrants allowed to vote; where there will be mentally infirmed voting; where there will be multitudes of unregistered voting; where there will be duplicate and triplicate voting. And worse yet, add to that the fact that the votes will now be tallied electronically and in another country, Spain, instead of the U.S., a company that has already been hacked by college students; where there will be no physical ballots for voter confirmation especially when hacked and whole streams of votes can be easily altered, and most importantly, whose CEO, Pere Valles is a friend and who lived in Chicago while the Obamanation was there and who donated heavily to his 2008 campaign, and its not hard to see how a collusion of all those factors will determine who will be “winning” the 2012 election. With so much fraud, the 2012 vote will simply be an exercise in futility. The outcome is already set and known and why he with confidence told Medvedev “after my election” instead of “in case of”. The next struggle would be to see if we could get him out of office in 2016 or will he have passed another law, without benefit of Congress, making him supreme ruler for life.

Chris, I found Joe Bidden’s comments about Atomic Weapons Disturbing. Obtaining the Nuclear Matterial IS the hard part of having Atomic Weapons. A simple design like The one used on Hiroshima would be enough. And all that was needed is a lubricated tube with half a critical mass at both ends. A small explosive forces the two masses together. How hard is this? Also if the administration (as a whole) knew that the Embasy needed more security, But the President didn’t. Doesn’t this suggest a missed security briefing or two?… I feel his pain,I don’t like getting up early either.
