(Knoxville, TN) — President Trump is in Tennessee watching a college football game between the Volunteers and the Texas Longhorns. Before departing for Knoxville, Trump spoke to reporters outside the White House. He touched on a variety of topics including the Iran war. Trump said he is rejecting Iran’s offer to make a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to commercial shipping. He said he would like to make a deal, but called Iran’s terms “unacceptable.” CNN was not on hand to offer pool coverage of the event after the White House said the news outlet would not travel with the president this weekend.
