(SRN NEWS)-Parliament has approved a pair of measures — one of which will allow abortions in the case of unborn babies that suffer from certain disabilities. The second one would remove penalties for anyone who aids or abets an illegal abortion. The two pieces of legislation now proceed to the Polish senate where liberals predominate and will likely pass them. Clergymen and pro-life advocates have been campaigning hard against the bills.
