(SRN NEWS)-According to a new study released by LifeWay Research and Guidestone Financial, most senior pastors in Southern Baptist churches have seen their pay packages and healthcare cut back over the past two years. LifeWay spokesman Scott McConnell says “Many churches are feeling the financial pressure of having a smaller number of active members than before COVID and pastors are bearing the consequences.”
