We decided there was only one proper way to welcome our newest Houstonian — and show host — Craig Collins to town: toss him headfirst into the legendary Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
No practice run. No broken-in boots. Just Craig, a microphone, and a sea of Rodeo veterans who prepare for this event like it’s the Super Bowl of Texas.
His mission? Learn the official Rodeo Dos and Don’ts from the real experts — the attendees who know exactly which boots mean business, which food is worth the line, and which rookie mistakes will earn you the look.
But before we released him into the wild, Craig made a strategic move. He checked in with the true insiders at the station: The Amigos. They gave him the crash course every newcomer needs!
Armed with their advice — and a questionable level of confidence — Craig hit the Rodeo grounds to see if Houston would officially accept him as one of its own.
Did he blend in like a seasoned Rodeo pro?
Or did he commit a Rodeo faux pas so bold it deserves its own belt buckle?
There’s only one way to find out. Check back for Craig’s Rodeo video later this week!
