Always articulate and entertaining, “The Laura Ingraham Radio Program” has been addicting listeners since her launch into national syndication in 2001.  Smart, funny, and ahead of the curve in politics and the culture, Laura takes listeners on a wild ride through the colliding worlds of politics, the news media, and Hollywood.

Whether she’s on the watch for evidence of media bias, political hypocrisy or Hollywood insanity, Laura infuses her program with a level of energy and commitment to conservative principles that grabs hold and won’t let go.

In addition to hosting her own syndicated radio program, Laura is an author, frequent columnist and television commentator.  Her books The Hillary Trap, Shut Up & Sing: How the Elites in Hollywood, Politics…and the UN are Subverting America (Regnery), and The Obama Diaries are bestsellers.

Laura worked as a speechwriter in the final two years of the Reagan Administration at the White House, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Education. She went on to graduate from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was Notes Editor of the Law Review. She served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and then on the Supreme Court of the United States for Justice Clarence Thomas. After clerking, Laura worked as a white-collar criminal defense attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Laura is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Just say no to stupid radio and get hooked on Laura. It’s not just a talk show – It’s an addiction.

I was wondering have you ever read “The Naked Communist” written in 1958.
I haven’t read the book, but you tube has it on there, going by numbers listed in the book of how they plan to strip away our USA. I heard about this book by reference from a Pastor in his sermon and then I looked on you tube and saw it there, but I haven’t read it. Just wondering because it seems to answer a lot of questions about the WHY and it was written so long ago and seems that lots of that stuff is coming to fruition.

  • FreeRadical

Given the debauchery of the financial institutions, it is nothing but cowardice that plebeians are targeted for recompense, rather than retaliating against the sycophants of usury.

Neither party cares much about sophistication and self sufficiency of the actual US domestic employment, as neomercantilism. The US GDP is growing as a result of US corporations oversees. The republicans blame the democrats for driving corporations off shore while the republicans held the door open.

Universal health care is proposed as a cost savings, but it does not represent a government that orchestrates spending plans with a calculated purpose of assuring global competition of its citizens through domestic industry that provides self sufficiency and technical skills base.

Immigration is first come first serve from second and third world countries upwards of 1 million a year, as opposed to 150,000 (skills based) in 1965.

Death panels is a safe but pathetic retreat. The argument is about entitlement for those who have worked and can afford medical treatment, often through outrageous expense that few can afford (INCLUDING THE GOVERNMENT), which others are expected to support, all for the sake of a few fearful years. Those who are not lucky will succumb to fate, whether it is universal or whether it is not.

heard on the news that CPS of Texas had a prior complaint concerning that child that was killed. Last year three kids die and we found that CPS had prior complaints concerning them and the year before two die again CPS had prior complaints.
I have a video of a child less then 15 mins after an interveiw by CPS in school so it can be proved that no one could have prior contact with child to tellthe child what to say.
The child states that he never before met the interveiwer yet reports state this was the second interveiw between this child and this interveiwer. so sre cps reports being faslified? The child also that the interveiwer called him a liar. Child also states that the interveiwer argued with him when his story did not fit interveiwer’s beliefs and threaten him concerning his mother (I believe to get him to change his story). Interveiwer also told him to his face she did not believe child, so what repore is this between CPS and childern they interveiw?
SO WHY DO KIDS DIE IN TEXAS AFTER CPS INVESTAGATIONS? Texas CPS is Rated the worst in the nation! Conversations with outside counselors, police and attorneys confirm that they are not surprised and that their oppinion of CPS would confirm this oppinion.
Would love to show this video to anyone who thinks they can help SAVE OUR KIDS IN TEXAS!

Drop the silly sound effects like the “harp” from the old “Bewitched” show. It’s annoying to say the least. Squelch the “power to the people” soud bite. It’s overdone. Lose the “butt monkey” and other lame themes.

Leave Boehner alone with the shorts, already.  Number 1, I think they were actually cute, and…  Number 2, his more casual attire suggests he considered the outing just that… “casual”.   Since the Mr. Obama has failed to give Boehner the respect he deserves by sitting down with him man-to-man in a suit and tie to discuss issues of serious concern to we the people, I think Boehner should always wear “play clothes” when the “little Barry” invites him on a play date on his 18-hole playground.  I am more irritated that Boehner agreed to be seen on “the greens” with the B.O. at ALL.

We, in Texas, have had to jerk Perry’s chain more than once to keep him on the Conservative side of the fence. The Trans-Texas Corridor is one example. If he was in Washington D.C. he’d jump the fence in no time flat. Think a less dorky McCain.

    Dear Mr. Bickham:

I seriously doubt I am going to change your views about METRO and METROLift, so
it’s not my intention to ask you to engage in a further protracted exchange of
correspondence. But I would note that federal law requires METRO to provide this
service. Whether that law is changed is outside METRO’s authority. If that
happens, we will of course respond appropriately. But as long as the law is on
the books, METRO is obligated to comply, and we will do our best to meet that
responsibility in as effective and affordable a way as possible.

    Very truly yours,

Subject: Re: METROLift: Your Recent Communication . . .

    Hi George,

I am not saying my service is better because
it isn’t. My idea about fractional ownership would fund itself…metro
requires eternal funding until the end of time. Here are my responses above
    your points:

point 1- Life, liberty, the pursuit
of happiness and a free ride!!! No its not my priority…and it shouldn’t be
the feds either. Who’s being held accountable for funding feel good ideas that
provide inadequate service, destroy free markets, and bankrupt our country.

    · Although METROLift is a service I feel confident METRO would
provide under any circumstance, federal law mandates that we do so. You might
say that this federal requirement reflects the priority you yourself place on
    the service.

    Point 2

Are they going to be finished giving free
rides at 75%? No! The farther you reach into local economies the more likely
you’ll destroy a chance for disabled people to receive decent services.

    · METRO actually
provides more service than required under federal law; our METROLift service
area is actually about twenty-nine percent (29%) larger than federal law
    stipulates.

    Point 3

Just because you contract through doesn’t
mean you are a largely privatized service. So the money goes through the
irs., then the feds, then the state, then to metro and then through only two
private providers and 1099 the rest.

    METRO operates METROLift through two private providers;
we also draw upon the services of numerous small businesses, disadvantaged
businesses, and independent contractors to provide the service. It is in fact
    already a largely privatized service.

    Point 4

The voucher is the subsidy that private
providers cash in for payment. Of course services for elderly and disabled
should be subsidized…but it shouldn’t funnel through one entity… that
destroy people lives. People need choices, other people want business’s, and
who can compete in business against the government. Just give up right!?! I’m
not. Reality says our country can’t do it any longer. I have an idea that
would fund transportation for elderly and disabled, make a profit for them as
a group and the people who drive them, and make metrolift obsolete. I am
guessing that not your prioty? You want to keep you job right? Does that
makes it easy to vote come November?

The cost of METROLift to the average customer is
nominal, in the neighborhood of $1.00. I’m not sure a privatized service with
no public subsidy would provide the benefits METROLift offers in exchange for
    a voucher of that value.

    Sincerely Insulted,

    John S. Bickham 00

    Subject: Metro Lift – comments

    Hi
    George,

    This
is a letter I wrote to Lee Boncher. She asked for us to submit our opinions
to you about Metro Lift. So here it is:

    Hi
    Lee,

    This
is a letter I wrote about this subject and it’s how I feel about the
matter. If you don’t or do I agree, I would appreciate it, if you’d pass it
    along.

    First
of all, I don’t think that transit should be under one umbrella. In my
opinion Metro Lift should be the priority and no one else
should ride until it’s done right. However, I also believe Metro
Lift can never do the job that the private sector could do simply
based on two things. 1. History and 2. Accountability.

    History:
Public transit has never funded itself and Metro is tanking.

    Accountability:
If services are to be funded for the elderly, disabled, blind, sick and
they should. It is my opinion that it should be done strictly through a
voucher system that passengers use to redeem with private companies. If
they don’t like the service they can hold them accountable and choose
another provider. As it is Metro has created a monopoly on transportation
    in Harris County.
Never fear because I am coming for ‘em and I will one day see the private
companies take back the transportation sector of our economy.

    Here
    is the letter,

    Dear
    Residents,

    On
Wednesday, September 22nd, the City of Sugar Land held a public meeting
regarding the mobility summit and the proposed Tram. Future meetings will
be conducted to address the issues we face pertaining to mobility in Fort Bend
    County .

    My
name is John Bickham, owner of a small private
transportation company here in Sugar Land
. After graduating from Texas A&M
    University
with a degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences in 2000, I began my
career transporting the elderly for medical purposes and recreational
outings as an Activity Director for Sugar Land Oaks Assisted Living. In
order to help more people, I decided to purchase a bus and start my own
transportation company, Sunny Day Tours, Inc. It has been very rewarding
and eye-opening for me. It is clear transportation in Sugar Land
    and Greater Houston has many
shortcomings in regards to helping those who need transportation the most.
However, it can be done right and I have a solution. Sugar Land
has a unique opportunity to make a difference in regards to the future of
transportation and your involvement is crucial.

    I
have already spoken to several councilmen and city employees about my ideas
to resolve the current issues of inefficient transportation. I mentioned fractional ownership and confused them
about why they would need this information and how it would work. I would
like to make it simple and ask the following questions to all citizens:

    Is public transportation ever going
to fund itself or overcome barriers like times of operation, county
lines, and punctuality? yes or no

    Would it be good if
there was a way to fund transportation needs, profit passengers,
overcome barriers, and bring money back to Sugar Land
    ? yes or no

    Could the existence
of public transportation be at conflict with the goals of private transport providers or a
hindrance for fractional ownership for passengers? yes or no

    Could Fort Bend County
transportation actually assist in transitioning from eternal funding
of inadequate services to funded quality services? yes or no

    Is the
    infrastructure in Harris County
Metro and their rail service what we want in Sugar Land
    ? yes or no

    We
have an opportunity to be different. We have a chance to be great.

    In
order to make my points relevant to the Tram, I would like to suggest that
the stakeholders who are pushing for its development pay to play, and take
ownership of the Tram themselves. I doubt the nursing, assisted living,
veterans, spinal injured or dialysis consumers I drive would be interested.
The proposed baseball stadium owners, First
    Colony Mall, the Hospitals, Imperial
Sugar, or the possible concert venues are all great candidates for
    ownership in a Tram.

    Let’s
make a plan and work the plan. Not make a plan to fail those who need us
    the most.

    Thank
you for your time and consideration.

    Sincerely,

    John
    Bickham

    Owner/Activity
    Director

    Sunny
    Day Tours, Inc.

    That’s
    all of the letter:

    Here
    is an update,

    Since, Public Transit in Fort
    Bend, my business has
nose dived. I am currently renovating the bus and turning it into a party
bus. My wheelchair lift now duals as a bar. Innovative small business can
be efficient and dynamic. However I am not giving up on the mission we
started with. People need rides and aren’t getting them. We have the power
in numbers. Why give it to Metro? Didn’t they lose 30 million dollars?
Aren’t they projected to be millions in the hole by 2030?

Let’s be creative, caring, and not forget
those who taxes built this country.

    Sincerely,

    John S. Bickham ’00

My Congressman recieved this email this morning from me he is Pete Olson is from the 22nd Distrect of Texas.

Congressman Pete Olson, I am very disappointed in your vote (yes) yesterday in support to increase the debt limit. This was a compromise that will likely ensure Obama’s re-election. However aside from that Conservatives didn’t get the balance budget ammendment they were fighting for. What happened to the promises made to the Tea Party by you and other Representatives? For example posting a Bill for the people to read 3 days before a vote is cast. I listened to Sam Malone yesterday and you stated you were leaning to a (No) vote. Now with a (Yes) vote you are leaning towards ending my support. I cannot vote for a Representative who will cave to the pressure of their House Leadership instead of standing up and fighting for Principals. Congressman Poe and Paul were the only (R)Reps who had the courage to vote (No). I will be seeking an alternative Congressman with those convictions of Conservative Principals to support and vote for in the next election cycle. I vote in every election and influence a minimum of 5 other people in their choice for candidates, just so you understand that it is not only my vote you will not enjoy in the next cycle. Respectfully Jeff Lowry

  • Rainmakercr

Laura, I heard your show yesterday and couldn’t help but wonder how you were being duped by the liberal media in believing their phone stories about the Tea Party winning the negotiations on the debt deal… after all these years, you should know better… i still love you though…

Let’s quit pointing fingers and fix the problem.  Everything doesn’t have to hurt the American people – so let’s start there.
We got into WWII to get out of the Great Depression.  Let’s use the same logic now.  We’re spending billions on wars, so let’s use that as the stimulus.  My proposal is that EVERYTHING used by the US military be made in America by 2020.  It’s good for national security and for the economy.  It will put people to work now and for the long run.
My challenge to ALL talk radio, television commentators, Congress and the public in general is to drop the politics and focus on the problem.  I know the American people have good ideas that would work.  Come on – let everyone know yours.

  • AOF

I look forward to listening to KSEV every day.  I have even got my husband hooked.  I enjoy learning of important events and hearing thoughts and opinions of the hosts and their guests.  I do, however, find myself tiring of the condescending and hateful comments that are expressed.  I appreciate it is done in an effort to emphasis the points that the hosts are trying to make, but it shows great distate and goes against the “chrisian” theme of this station and I trust the belief of the hosts.
As an alternative to what seems like a constant put down of the First Lady, perhaps more attention could be given to invidiual voting records and what is actually being voted on.

  • The real fair and balanced

It is no coincidence that we avoided a depression from 1929 to the Bush administration.  Laws and regulations were put into effect by FDR that prevented another collapse. And all worked well until the stinking Republicans began to deregulate–all to benefit their business and banking donor/owners.  They are to blame.  And it all started with Reagan and Phil Gramm.  Capitalism is fine but it MUST be regulated.  Otherwise it will self destruct.

Look at the clowns, the “authorities”, the department of justice, picking on the weak offenders of TRIVIAL MISDEMEANORS and too pathetic to take on the financial institution bullies.

Yesterday a judge declined to accept the pathetic deal that the SEC made with Citigroup for its FEDERAL CRIME involvement and it went barely noticed.

There has been a revolving door of attorneys between the departments of justice and the financial institutions who are now beyond prosecution, obstructing justice, and safeguarding themselves.

But the right wing press is thrilled with beating up neophytes while pointing to the most ridiculous elements amongst the occupy movement, while demonstrating a pathetic agenda as plutocratic sock puppets whose inferiority complex for partisanship attacks surmounts to cowardice by punks.

One might state “Pick on someone your own size.” but that would imply that the right is capable of doing anything about the bully for whom they are little more than lap dogs.
